Day 3

Yesterday in the class we posted in the blog and replied to our comments. Then learnt how to give and ask for directions (turn left, turn right, go under, go over…). We used Google maps and a paper map to practise. Look at what we saw!

In the afternoon we went to Port Sunlight, it is a very beautiful place because it is very green and we think the people are very nice and friendly. Here we practised how to ask directions with the people of the village.

After that, we went to visit an art gallery in the village. There we saw a lot of pictures and sculptures that were very old. Then, we went to the post office and Sergio and Julia sent a book to Michelle’s friend. Later we went to Liverpool and we spent the evening with the Spanish group. We were in a buffet for one hour because we were very hungry. Then, we went shopping, but the shops closed very early at 8 o’clock, we didn’t like it because in Spain it is more normal at 9 or 10 o’clock.

  1. I like to see how you speak with people. Do it as much as you can! It’s the best (the only) way to learn English!
    Un saludo a todos!

  2. Thank you Sergio and Julia for sending me the book from Michelle. I received it today! I am looking forward to reading it. I am really enjoying your blog, it looks like you are all having lots of fun as well as learning lots. Keep it up.

  4. Over the bridge – under the bridge, what a fantastic way to learn! You’ll remember those prepositions forever now. I hope you’re all enjoying your time in England (and in your pictures it’s not even raining)!
